Description

This is one of Slavic mythology character-''Wużałka'' (Snakewoman, Snaker(?)). Wużałka is daughter of giant Snake Lord with normal mortal woman. Children, or rather the only daughters(always with attractive look) took the form of half woman-half snake. These creatures were in love for all manner of jewelry probably coming from the united mountain of Treasures, where slept Snake Lord. Their favorite pastime was sitting on old trees and brushing long hair with golden combs.

Wużałka is personification of grass snake in the folk beliefs of the Polish area.
